The Riviera Beach Volunteer Fire Company has been serving the communities of Riviera Beach since 1931. We have 3 career persons per shift to staff the Fire Equipment and the Ambulance. The rest of us are volunteers! With an average total staffing of 4.21 per call, we own and run.
1 Ladder Truck,
1 Tanker Pumper,
1 F250 Brush Truck and 1 County Owned BLS Ambulance.
We also own and staff a Fire Rescue Boat that is docked at the Bar Harbor Marina, just down the road. In addition, we own a Special Unit trailer that carries the Rhino that it used for Brush Fires and special rescues. Our Chief 's vehicle is a Ford Expedition, our Assistant Chief's vehicle is a Crown Victoria. Thanks heavily in part to the donations of the communities around us, we are able to purchase top line equipment. That is why onTruck-13, E132, E131 and Brush-13 you will see "Owned By The Communities We Serve" written on the rear compartments.
