The Riviera Beach Volunteer Fire Co. is always seeking dedicated volunteer members, for both active riding and active non-riding members.
The application shall be filled out and along with the $10 application fee and $10. Dues ($20 total) are to be placed in the Membership Application box on or before the 20th of the month.
Each applicant must come to a New Membership Applicant meeting on the last Thursday of the month and meet with the Membership Committee to fill out the appropriate paperwork, and to be interviewed by the Committee. At this time each applicant shall be informed of their duties as a member for this company. If the applicant cannot attend the New Membership Meeting they are to notify the Membership Chairperson, Kim Smith, of the reason before the New Membership Meeting, and other arrangements may be made at the discretion of the Chairperson. The Membership Committee shall discuss the new applicants and make recommendations to the general membership regarding the applicant’s interview.
The Applicant must attend the regular General Membership Meeting on the first Monday of the month.
We currently have two different types of membership, Active riding and Active- Non riding. All the necessary training, turnout gear, and uniforms are provided to you free by the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.
